Wilson Sonsini: KABIRA TECHNOLOGIES FILES IPO WORTH $57 MILLION

San Rafael's Kabira Technologies Inc. has filed for an initial public offering of stock valued at about $57 million. Kabira is a maker of infrastructure software for businesses. Its most widely distributed product is a program called ObjectSwitch (which was also previously the company name). The program allows online businesses to create and implement new services without disrupting business or interfering with normal operations by shutting the system down or forcing current users to log off.
