Garcetti Kitty Closes on Million

Los Angeles County District Attorney Gil Garcetti, fighting to keep his job in the face of a strong challenge by Deputy District Attorney Steve Cooley, is in a better position financially than he was during the same time period four years ago when he ran against prosecutor John Lynch, according to campaign contribution disclosure statements released by the Registrar-Recorder County Clerk this week.
