Oracle Corp. tapped Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP to handle its $5.3 billion acquisition of Micros Systems Inc., a software vendor for the hospitality and retail industries.
The deal, announced Monday, is the largest takeover for Oracle since 2009, when the company bought Sun Microsystems Inc. for $7.4 billion.
