Well known litigator dies in rafting accident

James Paul Sizemore, a Manhattan Beach plaintiffs' attorney who focused on national pharmaceutical mass tort litigation, died in a river rafting accident June 16 while vacationing in Colorado.

James Paul Sizemore, a Manhattan Beach plaintiffs' attorney who focused on national pharmaceutical mass tort litigation, died in a river rafting accident June 16 while vacationing in Colorado. The cause of death was drowning and heart disease, according to the Pitkin County Coroner's Office. He was 44.
