Latham helps longtime client OpenTable sell for $2.6B

San Francisco-based OpenTable Inc., the online restaurant reservation service, sold to The Priceline Group Inc. in a deal announced Friday as Priceline looks to bolster its portfolio of online booking services.

San Francisco-based online restaurant reservation service provider OpenTable Inc. sold to The Priceline Group Inc. for $2.6 billion in a deal announced Friday.


OpenTable relied on its longtime corporate counsel at Latham & Watkins LLP to proctor the deal. Menlo Park partners Patrick A. Pohlen and Luke J. Bergstrom led the firm's deal team.
