Reed Smith elects new global managing partner

Alexander "Sandy" Y. Thomas replaces former global managing partner Gregory B. Jordan, who left the firm in October to join The PNC Financial Services Group Inc.

Reed Smith LLP said Wednesday that its partners have elected Washington, D.C.-based litigator Alexander "Sandy" Y. Thomas as the firm's next global managing partner.


Thomas replaces former global managing partner Gregory B. Jordan, who left the firm in October to join The PNC Financial Services Group Inc. as its general counsel and head of regulatory and government affairs.
