Uber Technologies Inc. raised an eye-popping $1.2 billion in venture capital funding Friday in a round that values the San Francisco-based company at around $18.2 billion.
Fenwick & West LLP advised the company in the Series D fundraising round, with a team led by partners Gordon K. Davidson in Mountain View and Michael A. Brown in San Francisco.
