Justice Judith McConnell named 'Cool Woman of 2014' by Girl Scouts San Diego

Judge Judith McConnell of the 4th District Court of Appeal, left, was named one of this year's "Cool Women" by Girl Scouts San Diego. She was introduced by former U.S. Attorney Carol Lam, right, a Cool Woman of 2007 and current deputy general counsel at QUALCOMM. The awards are given to women whose personal and professional achievements and service to the community make them role models for girls. Proceeds from the luncheon and ceremony, which took place May 13, will help keep Girl Scouting affordable for 30,000 local girls.
