LA Children's Chorus honors arts champions

Attorneys Marshall Rutter, left, and David Scheidemantle, right, were recently honored at the Los Angeles Children's Chorus Gala Bel Canto for their deep support of classical music. Marshall is a founding board member of the Los Angeles Master Chorale, the resident chorus at Walt Disney Concert Hall, and David is a past chairman of the LA Children's Chorus and helped lead the chorus through the most difficult economic times in recent history. The Children's Chorus raised $231,000 at the annual gala. Pictured is also Marshall's wife, Terry Knowles, the president and CEO of the LA Master Chorale.
