California will receive more than $7 million of a $105 million settlement announced Wednesday between pharmaceutical giant GlaxoSmithKline and more than 40 states to resolve allegations of illegal medication promotion.
The states alleged the British-based company unlawfully promoted asthma drug Advair, and antidepressant drugs Paxil and Wellbutrin for uses not approved by the FDA.
