New Law Clarifies Construction-Defect Litigation for Builders and Homeowners

Consumers and their attorneys have contended that shoddy construction practices have led to a proliferation of defects in homes, forcing homeowners and homeowners' associations to seek court intervention to obtain compensation for losses including cost of repair, diminution in value and investigative and legal fees.
