Central District Continues to Improve Local Bankruptcy Rules
Focus Column - By Wesley H. Avery - Effective May 14, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Central District of California amended its local bankruptcy rules. Both abridged and unabridged versions of the amended rules are available on the court's Web site at www.cacb.uscourts.gov. The rules were first promulgated in 1998 and have been amended periodically since then. The latest changes deal chiefly with motion practice and pretrial orders.
