Governor Names Judge for Ventura County Bench
Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger announced late Wednesday the appointment of Nancy L. Ayers to a judgeship in the Ventura County Superior Court.
Ayers, 51, a Republican of Hanford, fills a vacancy created by the retirement of Ventura County Superior Court Judge Arturo Gutierrez and will return to the county, where she worked as a prosecutor for 13 years.
