Latham and Greenberg Help Yahoo Branch Into Arab World

Yahoo Inc. announced it has agreed to buy Maktoob.com, a popular online community in the Arab world, with more than 16.5 million users. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Yahoo Inc. announced it has agreed to buy Maktoob.com, a popular online community in the Arab world, with more than 16.5 million users.

The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Latham & Watkins and Greenberg Traurig served as legal counsel for Yahoo on the deal. Both firms declined to comment.
