Demand for Legal Services in Key California Markets Declines

Hildebrandt's quarterly report on the health of the legal industry is in, and the results aren't looking good for Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. Both markets saw double-digit drops in demand for legal services over the same period last year, and represented two of the worst markets in the nation.

Hildebrandt's quarterly report on the health of the legal industry is in, and the results aren't looking good for Los Angeles and Silicon Valley. Both markets saw double-digit drops in demand for legal services over the same period last year, and represented two of the worst markets in the nation.

Demand, measured in billable hours, was down 10.2 percent in Los Angeles and 13.2 percent in Silicon Valley....
