Sacramento officials start lobbying campaign for new courthouse

The Judicial Council has offered a $7.73 million contract to a prominent architectural firm to deliver preliminary design plans for a new downtown Sacramento County courthouse, despite the fact that the courts don't have the money to build the project.

SACRAMENTO — The Judicial Council has offered a $7.73 million contract to a prominent architectural firm to deliver preliminary design plans for a new downtown Sacramento County courthouse, despite the fact that the courts don't have the money to build it.
