Environmental group says Dow violates Prop. 65

The suit focuses on Telone, one of state's most used soil fumigants.

An Oakland environmental group sued Dow AgroSciences LLC on Tuesday, alleging the company's failure to warn residents of potential hazards related to the use of a soil fumigant violates Proposition 65.

Filed in Alameda County Superior Court, the suit concerns Telone, a known carcinogen when inhaled for long periods of time, according to the Environmental Protection Agency...
