LOS ANGELES — Bidders denied the domain extension of their dreams may soon earn the right to sue for a piece of the $240 million they lost out on in anticipated profits from .web, .shop, and other top-level domains auctioned off by the Internet Corporation for Assigned Name and Numbers (ICANN) since 2012.
