Clorox GC Wins Pro Bono Award

Vice president and general counsel Laura Stein accepted the Association of Corporate Counsel’s Pro Bono award during a ceremony at the Clorox headquarters in Oakland on April 11. Stein established Clorox’s pro bono committee in 2005, which partners with several community outreach programs, such as Project Clean Slate, Legal de la Raza, and the Family Violence Law Center of Oakland to provide legal services. She is also active in the association, serving as the co-chair of the Corporate Pro Bono, a partnership between the association, the Pro Bono Institute. She is also part of the association’s Value Challenge Steering Committee, which is dedicated to unite cost and value in the legal industry.
