A few days ago, a reporter (not from this paper) called me for comment after former judge and U.S. Attorney Bill McGivern passed away from a tragic illness. Although the reporter seemed to be fishing, I told her that I didn't think she would find anyone who would say anything bad about Bill. I was wrong. She found me. And I was reminded, once again, of certain unfortunate risks when speaking with the media.
