DreamWorks Animation announces China venture

In a move that's becoming increasingly common for Hollywood studios, DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. announced a new joint venture to create family-friendly content for the China marketplace.

LOS ANGELES - In a move that is sure to become increasingly commonplace for Hollywood's major studios, DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc. officially announced on Friday its plans to launch a new joint studio venture in China.


Like the animation studio's work in the United States, the new entertainment company, dubbed Oriental DreamWorks, will focus on creating family-friendly content.
