Former McAfee GC settles suit against company

Former McAfee Inc. General Counsel Kent H. Roberts has settled a defamation and malicious prosecution lawsuit he filed against his former employer.

Former McAfee Inc. General Counsel Kent H. Roberts has settled a defamation and malicious prosecution lawsuit he filed against his former employer in which he claimed it made him a scapegoat in its stock options backdating scandal. Roberts had sought more than $48 million.
