Internet Company Attaches a Leaf to the Tree
Cooley Godward INTERNET CONTENT COMPANY ATTACHES A LEAF TO THE TREE Redwood City's BroadVision Inc., which provides services to online merchants, has agreed to acquire Waltham, Mass.-based Interleaf Inc. in a transaction valued at more than $877 million. Under the terms of the deal, Interleaf shareholders will receive .3465 shares of BroadVision common stock for each share of Interleaf common stock. Both companies expect the transaction to be complete by the end of May.
