Cooley: DA Sold Program for Support

Los Angeles district attorney candidate Steve Cooley, stepping up his criticism of incumbent Gil Garcetti for not uncovering the Rampart scandal sooner, Monday accused Garcetti of axing the DA's roll-out program in 1996 in exchange for the political support of the Los Angeles Police Protective League.
