Supervisory Guidance New EEOC Document Interprets 'Farragher' and 'Ellerth' By David Goldman On June 18, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission issued its interpretation of the two 1998 U.S. Supreme Court cases dealing with sexual harassment by supervisors. The EEOC's "Enforcement Guidance on Vicarious Employer Liability for Unlawful Harassment by Supervisors" is designed to guide agency employees in investigating and analyzing such harassment claims.
