County Unanimously Votes to Halt Deportation of Abused Child

In response to a 15-year-old abused girl's plea to avoid deportation to Romania, county supervisors unanimously voted Tuesday to instruct the interim director of the Department of Children and Family Services to seek permanent residency status for the foster child.
