Restoration of Right to Sue Hinges on $1M Exclusion
SACRAMENTO - Legislation to restore plaintiffs' right to sue insurers for bad-faith denial or delay of claims could exempt cases in which the judgment in the underlying lawsuit totals $1 million or more, informed sources said Monday.
