Prop. 187 Foes Ask Suit Be Reinstated

SAN FRANCISCO - The tangled legal maneuvering to extract Proposition 187 from the federal appeals court and apply terms of a mediated settlement hit another snag Thursday when one plaintiffs' firm asked the court to vacate the mediation agreement and reinstate the defendant's appeal.
