Pacific Legal Foundation Seeks Nullification of Prop. 187 Deal
SAN FRANCISCO - Sponsors of Proposition 187 opened a new round in the fight to resurrect the immigrant-benefits initiative Wednesday, arguing the settlement worked out between the Gov. Gray Davis and foes of the measure eliminates any "case or controversy" and thus ends court jurisdiction.
