Ninth Circuit Set To Revisit Ruling On Pot Searches

SAN FRANCISCO - The replacement of one judge on a divided three-judge federal appeals panel resulted Thursday in the withdrawal of a significant 1998 ruling that had declared unconstitutional the warrantless use of thermal imagers to uncover marijuana plants growing inside homes.
