SANTA ANA - An 83-year-old man who lived alone recently was approached by his son, who asked for money. When the man refused, the son struck him violently in the head several times. As a result of the blows, the man suffered a concussion and severe facial wounds, requiring 60 sutures to fasten his flesh back together.
