Judge May Reduce Jurys $4M Award to Fired Kmart Cashier
A $4 million punitive damages award against Kmart, described by the discount chain's attorney as the largest individual employment award ever, might be excessive, said a Los Angeles Superior Court judge, who indicated Wednesday he was inclined to reduce it.
