Jennifer N. Lehman In a trio of recent decisions, the U.S. Supreme Court made clear that the Americans With Disabilities Act, 42 U.S.C. Section 12101 et seq., does not protect individuals with correctable impairments, such as bad vision or high blood pressure. Sutton v. United Airlines Inc. , 119 S.Ct. 2139 (1999), Murphy v.
