'Stolen' Monet and Picasso Prove Costly for Surgeon

A tape-recorded telephone conversation in which a Beverly Hills eye surgeon spoke in almost childlike code about two prized paintings that he reported stolen played a big part in his conviction Tuesday on all 18 counts of a federal indictment, a juror said.
