One Lawyer Does Hollywood's Dirty Work

Take any major copyright infringement cases filed by Hollywood studios in recent years and chances are Andy Coombs filed it. The Canadian-born attorney seems to have cornered the market in such suits.

Judging by his white beard and genial demeanor, some litigation opponents might take Andrew Coombs for a college professor from Canada.


They'd be right about Canada.


Coombs, who came to Los Angeles from Montreal in 1986, is instead an unlikely agent doing the bidding of some of the biggest players in the entertainment industry.
