Experts say that new California Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye would be wise to forge a strong relationship with Gov. Jerry Brown to help get support for the court system.

SACRAMENTO - If California's court system is going to make it through another bad budget year relatively intact, experts warn that the chief justice and the new governor are going to need to get to know each other in a hurry.
