Mattel Tries to Block Bratz Trial Delay

With scores of potential jurors pouring into the Santa Ana federal courthouse Wednesday, Mattel Inc. urged a federal appeals court not to delay the latest trial over the Bratz doll line.

SANTA ANA - With scores of potential jurors pouring into the Santa Ana federal courthouse Wednesday, confirmation came that a prominent Irvine litigator will take the lead for MGA Entertainment Inc. in the second trial of the hard-fought lawsuit with Mattel Inc. over rights to the Bratz doll line.
