A 24-year veteran prosecutor and high-ranking deputy to Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley announced Wednesday that she's forming an exploratory committee for a 2012 run for Cooley's job.
Assistant District Attorney Jacqueline Lacey, who supervises 500 attorneys and 200 staff as the top deputy for line operations, said she'd target Internet crime if elected.
