Paint Chain Settles Disposal Charges

Vista Paint Corp. will pay more than $1 million to settle charges by six district attorney offices that the paint-store chain mishandled hazardous wastes.

SANTA ANA - Vista Paint Corp. will pay more than $1 million to settle charges by six district attorney offices that the paint store chain mishandled hazardous wastes.


The Fullerton company is at least the third major retailer hit with a large penalty over how it handled chemicals and other dangerous products in California.
