A Taste for Wine Brings Firm Together

Land-use litigator Joel D. Deutsch had just left a job interview with Jeffer Mangels Butler & Mitchell in 1989 when he decided to pop into a nearby fine wines store to search for a few good bottles.


There, he discovered Mark Rosenthal, the Jeffer Mangels partner who'd just interviewed him.


"I didn't know you collected wines," they said to one another.
