Bar Won't Discipline Lawyers

The State Bar will not discipline Thomas V. Girardi or Walter J. Lack and other lawyers from Lack's firm for trying to enforce a sham $489 million Nicaraguan judgment.

The State Bar will not discipline Thomas V. Girardi or Walter J. Lack and other lawyers from Lack's firm for trying to enforce a sham $489 million Nicaraguan judgment - even though the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals barred Lack and a partner from practice temporarily and publicly reprimanded Girardi.
