UC Hastings dean apologizes for school's low bar passage rate

The dean called the school's 51 percent first-time passage rate horrific and criticized the State Bar.

The acting dean of UC Hastings College of the Law issued an apology Monday after only 51 percent of the school's graduates who took the California bar exam for the first time in July passed, a result he called "horrific."
