Attorney general nominee already clearing the 2018 field

U.S. Rep. Xavier Becerra, D-Los Angeles, won't even be nominated until current Attorney General Kamala D. Harris is sworn in for her U.S. Senate term on Jan. 3, but he already is being named as a key antagonist of the incoming Trump administration.
