Venture capital investment dips in second half of year

Legal experts have cautious optimism for strong public and private markets in 2017.

After uncertainty amid a volatile presidential election, inklings of heedfulness on the part of venture capital investors and the expected end-year slowdown, venture activity in the U.S. dipped significantly in the second half of 2016.
