Warrants to draw blood may increase with marijuana legalization

Since the Supreme Court decided Birchfield, there has been an uptick in requests for search warrants to draw blood in DUI investigations. Now that California voters have passed Proposition 64, which legalizes possession of recreational marijuana, those changes may have far-reaching implications in the areas of privacy and public safety.
