The state Supreme Court held Thursday that employers owe a duty of care to an employee's household members who suffered from asbestos brought home from work.
The result expands the pool of mesothelioma-afflicted individuals who can sue businesses for secondary asbestos exposure, a victory for plaintiffs and their lawyers.
