Latham & Watkins: PRIVATE PLACEMENT RAISES $52 MILLION FOR TIVO FIRM
San Jose's Tivo Inc. closed a $52 million private placement of convertible debt and warrants. Robertson Stephens Inc. served as the placement agent.
Tivo produces personal videorecorder consoles that digitally record up to 60 hours of broadcast, cable and satellite television shows. The company also markets a subscription service that guides users on what shows to record.
