Court Upholds Denial of Berth Space to Scouts

WASHINGTON - The city of Berkeley received welcome news from the U.S. Supreme Court on Monday when the justices announced they would not review the city's decision to deny free dock space at the Berkeley Marina to a youth boating group affiliated with the Boy Scouts of America, which has a policy of excluding gays and atheists.
