City of Oakland Files Lawsuit Against Alleged Slumlord

OAKLAND - Oakland City Attorney John Russo, flanked by politicians and housing advocates, announced Thursday the city is filing suit against the owner of 13 apartment buildings, seeking to impose tens of thousands of dollars in fines for a laundry list of alleged health and safety violations.
