Convicted Killer Wants Retry-or-Free Order Enforced

SAN FRANCISCO - At Pelican Bay State Prison, convicted murderer Aldridge Currie has a federal judge's order, signed in July, saying he must be retried or released within 90 days.

      SAN FRANCISCO - At Pelican Bay State Prison, convicted murderer Aldridge Currie has a federal judge's order, signed in July, saying he must be retried or released within 90 days.
      Wednesday was the 97th day and no retrial is in the works.
      Currie wants out.
